BODEGAS FAMILIARES DE RIOJA RECIBE EL "PREMIO A LA BODEGA NACIONAL"

Concha Peñaranda, gerente de Bodegas Familiares de Rioja, recibe el Premio a la Bodega Nacional.

El pasado 30 de mayo, la localidad de Les Borges Blanques, en Lérida, acogió la celebración del VII Encuentro Nacional de Cofradías Vínicas y Gastronómicas de las Regiones de España. Bajo el lema “Trigo, Vid y Olivo – La tríada mediterránea en la alimentación popular”, el municipio catalán se vistió de gala para desarrollar un amplio programa de actividades gastronómicas y culturales. Se trata de “un gran acontecimiento que pretende ser la mezcla de tradición, cultura e idiosincrasia de los pueblos, en torno a una gastronomía costumbrista fruto de la historia de España”.En este marco, Bodegas Familiares de Rioja recibió el “Premio a la Bodega Nacional”, otorgado por la Federación Española de Cofradías Gastronómicas y Vínicas. Este galardón fue recogido por Concha Peñaranda, gerente de la entidad, quien acudió acompañada por Javier Gracia, Gran Maestre de la Cofradía del Vino de Rioja y otros representantes de esta institución que cumple ahora 25 años.Además, la asociación de Bodegas Familiares también estuvo representada en diversas actividades por Bodegas ILURCE y Bodegas VIÑEDOS DEL TERNERO, cuyos vinos ILURCE y PICEA 650, maridaron la correspondiente cena de gala La Junta Directiva de la Asociación de Bodegas Familiares de Rioja, agradece este premio que reconoce la labor desarrollada por la entidad, las continuas iniciativas a favor del espíritu de un viñedo familiar y la defensa de la cultura mediterránea.--

BODEGAS FAMILIARES AWARDED IN ¨LES BORGES BLANQUES¨THE FAMILY-RUN, RIOJA WINERIES AWARDED BY THE SPANISH FEDERATION OF GASTRONOMIC AND WINE GUILDSOn the 30th of May in Lérida at the location of ¨Les Borges Blanques¨the ceremony took place. The celebration marked the VII National Meeting of the Gatronomic and Wine Guilds of the Regions of Spain. Under the theme ¨Wheat, Vine and Olive Tree¨ -a trinity of the most popular elements of Mediterranean food, the Catalonian town adorned its streets for the various cultural and gastronomic activities. It was descibed as ¨a grand event with the intention of being a combination of tradition, culture and the idiosincratic nature of each community, within traditional gastronomy, the fruit of the rich history of Spain¨.In the framework of this festival, Bodegas Familiares de Rioja was given ¨Premio a la Bodega Nacional¨ (The National Bodega Prize) awarded by the Federation of Gastronomic and Wine Guilds. The award was received by Concha Peñaranda, representative of the association, accompanied by Javier Gracia, Gran Maestre de la Cofradía del Vino de Rioja (Rioja Guild of Wine), among other representatives of now 25-year-old institute.Moreover, the association of Bodegas Familiares was represented in various activities by Bodegas ILURCE and Bodegas VIÑEDOS DEL TERNERO, whose wines ILURCE and PICEA 650, were paired with the corresponding dishes at the formal dinner.The Control Board of the Asociación de Bodegas Familiares de Rioja is thankful for this prize, which recognizes the work carried out by the association, the continued support of the spirit of a family-run vineyard, and the promotion of Mediterranean culture.
